Deadline for West Liberty Bicentennial Celebration entries is May 31

The West Liberty Bicentennial Celebration Committee is accepting entries for the Youth Essay Contest and the Adult & Youth Art Contest. Entries will be accepted through May 31.

The Youth Essay Contest is for Champaign and Logan County children from kindergarten and 12th grades. Prizes will be awarded. Rules are- 300 word essay, typed single-space. Name, address, age and phone number on the back of essay. Essay theme is “What is your favorite thing about West Liberty.” Deadline is May 31st.

The Youth (K -12 grades) and Adult Art Contest is for Champaign and Logan County residents. Prizes will be handed out for both. Rules are- 8 X 10 Drawing, any medium. Name, address, age (for children only) and phone number must be on the back of the artwork. Art drawing theme is- “Celebrating 200 years of West Liberty History.”Deadline is May 31st.
