Henry A. Whitacre, 88, of Lakeview, past to be with the Lord and his other loved ones, peacefully at his home on August 19, 2010.
Henry was born in Lima, Ohio on August 30, 1921 to the late Emerson & Cleta Zigler Whitacre. 
He will truly be missed but welcomed by those that preceded him, parents, his wife of 54 years, the former Madge McDowell, three brothers; Jim, Harry, and Joe, sister; Thelma, and many others
He is survived by his son; Mike (Wanda) Whitacre of Lakeview, three grandchildren; Kammy, Jason, and Milecha, seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister, Bernice Laviness of Lima, sister-in-law, Cecil Whitacre of Fostoria, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
Henry was a WWII Army veteran, and was wounded during the invasion of Normandy. 
He was a life member of the Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39, Lakeview, Donald M. Shafer Memorial VFW Post #6560, Dayton, American Legion Post #888, Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533 and Indian Lake FOE #3615, both of Lakeview, Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 148, Delaware, OH, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8.
Henry was a kind, generous, and loving person, a stranger to no one. He leaves behind many friends. He always had a joke or story to tell and loved and enjoyed his time here on earth.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be given to the Henry A. Whitacre Memorial Fund c/o Champaign Bank, 330 Orchard Island Road South, Russells Point, OH 43348.
Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview.

S. Kay Gibson, 64, of Bellefontaine, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born on December 26, 1945, in Waynesfield, OH to the late Robert & Helen Hatfield Burden. She was preceded in death by a brother: Dale Burden.
She is survived by two daughters: Kim (Miguel) Vazquez of Dayton, and Michelle (Jerry) Corwin of DeGraff, a son: Robert Andrew (Lee Ann) Gibson of Huntsville, nine grandchildren: John Fotou, Jason Fotou, Amanda Green, Erin (Mike) Leiter, Nick Fleming, Josie Corwin, Joseph Corwin, Tara (Glen) Wheeler, Sara Gibson, four great grandchildren: Haiden, Xavier, and Kayl Green and Michael Wheeler, a sister: Faith Harper of Bellefontaine, W. David Burden of Monterey, CA, and John A. Burden of Covington, LA.
Kay attended Washington Twp High School in Lewistown. She was a member of Bellefontaine First Assembly of God. She was a long time volunteer for OHIO READ at Bellefontaine City Schools, and loved animals, especial her dog, Pete.
Per Mrs. Gibson’s wishes, her body was cremated.
A memorial dinner will occur at 6:30 pm, Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Bellefontaine First Assembly of God.

Kenneth L. “Ken” Palmer Sr., 44, of Bellefontaine, made his final journey to his eternal home on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
Ken was born in Bellefontaine, on October 1, 1965 to Robert “Feeney” and the late Carolyn Shigley Palmer. Ken was also preceded in death by a brother, James Rosenburg, niece, Kristi Nolan, and both sets of grandparents.
He is survived by his father and stepmother; Coni of Battle Creek, MI, three sons: Kenneth (Brandi) Palmer, Jr., and Garrett Palmer, both of St. Louis, MO, Hayden Baker, at home, a daughter: Erin Palmer, of St. Louis, MO, two sisters: Carla (Rick) Nolan, of Bellefontaine, and Kathy Blosser of Orlando, FL, and two brothers: Robert (Lesa) Palmer, of Lakeview, and Larry (Amanda) Rosenburg, of Battle Creek, MI.
He was a 1984 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He formerly worked at Airstream in Jackson Center for 10 years, and Wizard of Walls for nine years. He currently worked with his brother, Robert, doing construction and remodeling.
Ken enjoyed riding his Harley, NASCAR racing, car derbies and working on cars.
Reverend Bryan Meadows will conduct funeral services at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview. Visitation will be Tuesday, August, 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Shoffstall Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery where his body will be laid to rest eternally beside his mother.
Ken- We love you and will miss you dearly.

Earl W. Roberts, 85, of Rushsylvania, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born in Rushsylvania on January 14, 1925, a son of the late Charles H. & Rachel M. Harvey Roberts. 
On June 12, 1949, he married the former Janet M. Sparrow, who preceded him in death along with three brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his sons, David (Linda) Roberts, of Rushsylvania, and John (Beverly) Roberts of Huntsville, four grandsons, four granddaughters, three great grandsons, and three great granddaughters.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Pastor John James will officiate a graveside service at the convenience of the family at Rushsylvania Cemetery.

Robert Doyle Molitor, 50, of Vandalia, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence.
Robert was born on October 14, 1959, in Bellefontaine, OH to Wilbur R. and Elverta H. Scheele Molitor, who live in Russells Point, OH.
Robert is also survived by his two children: Jeremy J. Molitor of Eaton, OH and Kristin M. Molitor of New Lebanon, OH, and two brothers: Gerald R. (Cheryl) Molitor of Vandalia, and Christopher L. Molitor of Chicago, IL.
Robert was a 1978 graduate of Piqua High School and veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked for Good Samaritan Hospital of Dayton for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping his father field train Beagles for the Lima and Clark County Beagle Clubs.
Per Mr. Molitor’s wishes, his body was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date with interment at Huntsville Cemetery.
