Darlene R. King, 62, of Lakeview, passed away Monday Afternoon, October 11, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.
She was born on January 4, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ray & Myrtle Conwell Holderman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Holderman and close friend, Dorothy.
She is survived by a daughter: Mickey (Mark) Shoffner, of Lewistown, two sons: Rich (Shauna) Szima, of Lakeview, and Joe (Amber) King, of DeGraff, nine grandchildren: Danielle, Desiree`, Kandi, Matt, Chase, Cody, Alexa, Jacob, and Georgia, nine great grandchildren: Ethan, Jaylynn, Joelle, Madison, Izick, Kaylin, Audrey, Braydon, and Levi, and close friends and coworkers, Cathy and Vickie.
Darlene was a graduate of Fairview High School in Dayton. She was a member of the United Brethren Church. She worked at Heartland of Indian Lake and Bellefontaine for 26 years. She loved her pets, collected bells and porcelain dolls. Her kids and grandkids were always most important to her.
Brother Donnie Day will conduct funeral services at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview. Visitation is Friday, October 15th from 5-7 pm at Shoffstall Funeral Home. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.

Carolyn Neer, 86, of Bellefontaine, went home to be with the Lord, following a short illness, on October 11, 2010 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Logan County on November 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Chester and Gertrude (Rotroff) Cooper.
On December 6, 1942 she married Joe E. Neer and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1998. She also was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Ralph Cooper, and sisters, Juanita Detrick, Ruth Tanger, and Jane Stevenson.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Willard) Scheifele of Cable, Joan (Gary) Clayton of DeGraff; four sons, Max (Debbie) Neer of DeGraff, Roger (Robin) Neer of Powell and twin sons, Terry and Larry Neer of Zionsville, IN; sisters, Shirley Yoder of Goshen, IN, and Margaret Jones of Marblehead, OH; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A 1942 Bellefontaine High School graduate, Carolyn was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She was a member of the South Union Mennonite Church of 63 years, and most recently attended Calvary Baptist Church. She volunteered at Global Crafts and Green Hills in West Liberty.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, October 14th at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where the funeral service will begin at 11 am on Friday, October 15th with one hour of calling prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.

Norman Dale Wildermuth, 64, of DeGraff, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at 8:27 a.m. in the Emergency Room at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney, Ohio.
He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on December 8, 1945, a son of Norman J. “Bud” Wildermuth who died June 23, 2004 and Leona C. Elliott Wildermuth who survives in Lewistown.
He was employed as a machinist at Plastipak in Jackson Center and was also a farmer.
He married the former Ann Kyle on June 23, 1984 in Xenia and she survives along with a daughter, Jill Wildermuth; sons, Brian and Jeff Wildermuth all of DeGraff; brothers, Dick (Jane) Wildermuth and Dan Wildermuth both of Lewistown and Don (Cindy) Wildermuth of Tipp City; a sister, Deanna Apgar of Lewistown; mother-in-law, Catherine Kyle of Xenia; brother-in-law, John Kyle of Xenia and several nieces and nephews.
He was an Army veteran having served in Frankfurt, Germany. 
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Jackson Center where he served on the church council. He coached baseball and softball for Washington Township and played fast pitch softball for Jackson Center. 
He was a 1964 graduate of Indian Lake High School and a member of a Farm Bureau Council, Logan County Cattle Association and was very active in 4-H activities.
Pastor Kent Hollis conducts a funeral at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center where friends may call Thursday from 2 – 8 p.m. 
Burial will take place at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson with military honors being held by the Logan County Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Logan County 4-H committee.

Donald Potts Sr., 71, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 5, 2010.
He was born July 4, 1939 in Vaughn’s Mill, Kentucky the son of the late Woodrow & Marjorie (Highley) Potts.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the water department for the city of Dayton. He was a member of the Moose Lodge & F.O.E. in Russells Point, Ohio.
He is survived by his mother, two sons, Donald & Mandy Potts, Jr., James & Heather Reilley; a daughter, Tara Potts; nine grandchildren; a brother, Glen & Sherri Potts; sisters, Ann Kendricks, Jenny Falls, Ina Wilson, Charlene & Phil Downing; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Rudy Potts.
Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday October 8, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 11 AM in the funeral home with Dr. Andrew J.O. Wright officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.

John W. Streets, 65, of Russells Point passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Richard M. Ross Hospital, Columbus.
John was born in Blacklick, Ohio on December 11, 1944 to Maynard M. and Ruth L. Sampson Streets. He worked for Coca-Cola for many years and had his realtors license. John retired as a parts advisor for Carriage Town and was most recently working part-time with AVI Food Services. John was a member of Indian Lake Community Church. He was a master carpenter, making custom furniture with a meticulous eye. John also enjoyed painting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be missed by many special friends.
John is survived by his wife Dee Streets, whom he married July 15, 1989 in Westerville; sons Steven Streets of Marshalltown, Iowa, David Streets of Harrah, Oklahoma, Christopher Hansley of Worthington; daughters Dianna (Rick) Goyette of Harrah, Oklahoma, Kyle Gallagher and Kari Hansley, both of Worthington; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Don (Mary Ann) Streets of Homassassa, Florida, James (Sue) Streets of Pataskala, and a sister Margaret French of Oceanside, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grand-daughter Megan Streets.
Memorial services will be held at Indian Lake Community Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23 with Pastor Jim Ellington officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indian Lake Community Church.
